OBO Lighted china cabinet and collection of Old Country Roses Bone China in Charleston, SC

This is a collection of Royal Albert fine bone china. Old Country Roses is the most popular and widely recognized china pattern in the world. To own a piece of Royal Albert is to have a piece of history in your hands. This household name had links with the royal household from the start, after Prince Albert who became King George VI in 1936. China produced at the factory was therefore initially branded as Albert Crown China. 'Royal' was added in 1904. But it soon became known familiarly as 'Royal Albert'. This particular collection is 2 fifferent servce settings for 4, One set with coffe cups, and one set with the "red glass" goblets. Over the years other items such as, a cookie jar, napkin rings, little chapel tea light burner, musical carousel, water pitcher, serving platter, ceamer and sugar, salt and pepper, have been added. The cabinet is solid wood and lighted with 2 removable glass shelves for easy cleaning. The side doors are hinged and magnetized. It is a heavy, quality piece of furniture.
